Mistress Of Ceremonies
 EP review by Sean Mellor

‘Mistresss of Ceremonies’ Starting off the CD hard, loud, Proud and fast with some rockin punk. Great guitars, Drums and Bekis vocals, the Mistress Of Ceremonies indeed.

‘Misery’
The main thing I loved on this track especially is the guitaring near the end of the song, slightly slower than the 1st song, but still steams along like a Punk Rock Train. The guitars at the end are sublime, would be great live, awesome heavy metal style soloing.

‘Squeezed’
Another rocker, Punk fucking rock. Turning the screw indeed.

‘Mistress Of Ceremonies Adored Mix’
At first I wasn’t sure about the opening “dance beats” but the song then opens up, giving the musicianship room to breathe. Like Dub Reggae it’s not just about the music but the space between the music, those drums, the guitars and Beki’s vocals all breathe on this remix but keep the Punk heaviness.

‘Misery Instrumental’
And on to the final track, I’m not usually a fan of instrumentals but after hearing the guitar work on the full track, this version stripped of Bekis’ vocals gives the guitars room to shine and show their magnificence. The final minute or so is sublime, I can close my eyes, nod my head to the music and play air guitar to it.

All in all I’m sat here with my leg tapping for all 5 tracks on this new CD single. And what can be said about the artwork on both the CD and the comic, immense artwork, some of the best I’ve ever seen on a CD.
