What was your favrit food as a child?

Beki -Cake.

what is the bands favrit place to eat at?

A Moto Service area halfway between London and Leeds ....NOT!! It's probably the Vegetarian House in Portland, though it's a long distance for us to send out for a takeaway when we're in London.

If you guys could do anything for 24 hours what would it be?:

It would involve a Les Paul showroom, lemon sorbet and some willing slaves, and an awful lot of noise.

What was your first concert you saw?:

A carol concert/Nativity play at my primary school, they played Vivaldi and I was transfixed. My first 'adult' concert was probably The Slits when I was 12 or 13.

What do you guys smoke if any smoking happens at all?:

Each others dried out underwear.

What are your favrit drinks?:

Dom Perignon, Red Stripe Lager and Margueritas, but not all in the same bucket.

Favrit colours of the band members?:

Fuschia pink, Underpant off-white, Sock-grey and Faded Black.

whats every ones favrit actor?:

Bruce Lee

Band facts >)What was your major influance for vice squads sound?:

We were too inept to copy anyone else so sounded original.

What are the influances for the lyrics you chose to use?:

Life in general, all life is politics and I'm always pissed off about something.

Best concert you have done?:

Hard to say what the best one ever, ever in the whole world was but Punk and Disorderly in Berlin 2009 and the Gaff in London 2009 were pretty steaming.

Your new song "satan claws", what was going through your heads when you thought of this new song?:

The usual insanity......I was dead against doing it at first but was more enthusiastic when we re-wrote the lyrics.

What are some of the best moments of vice squad?:

Those few moments between consciousness and sleep, when your body softly aches, your ears are still ringing from the gig and there's a warm glow from the tequila in your belly...Zzzzzzzzz

When your on stage, and on the road do you ever get the shakes before playing live?:

I've had the shakes from exhaustion and lack of food on several occasions but I've only had really bad stage fright a few times.

Are your songs like your kids, you cant have a favrit one?:

You favour different songs at different times, it goes in cycles of boredom and enthusiasm.

What was the first concert you all played?:

Bristol University

Where was the first concert you played held?:

  See above!

will you ever stop writing music?:

I don't think so.

when did you guys write your first song?:

I think it was 1979

(boss man's question)How did you discover yourselfs and meet up as a band?:

My then boyfriend saw an advert in Revolver Records in Bristol for a female singer and we went along and met Dave and Shane.

When you formed were your parents supportive of vice squad?:

Mine were pretty cool, my dad used to lend me his microphone stand and drive me to rehearsals and my mum's been accosted by Lemmy and offered drugs by various people who shall remain nameless!!!

Was vice squad the first name you thought of or was there somthing else in mind?:

I thought of it but wasn't sure if it was the best, but the rest of the band liked it so it stuck.

What do you do to get your creative juice flowing?:

I pick up my guitar and/or get a pen and paper, I've usually got something to say and Paul (lead guitar) usually has plenty of riffs and ideas for titles if I don't think of anything straight away.

Will there ever be a united states concert any time soon?:

We're hoping to tour the States again in 2010.

(veiws on the world's music today)What are your veiws of the new music styles used today?

Some of it's good, some of it's produced to death and aimed at 12 year old girls. But it's still better that 12 year old girls listen to guitar based music than dance/pop.

Do you all have a favrit genra that isnt punk/post-punk music?

Thrash Skiffle

How do you feel about religius veiws in music today?:

I don't object to it as long as it's positive. Music is the breath of God.

How about thoughs craz cathlic priests?:

Do you mean the ones who say Rock and Roll is Satanic? I don't understand them as music is positive and beautiful, bad people will do bad things no matter what music they choose to listen to. I can't think of anything more akin to Satan than the Inquisition, and banning the use of condoms in over populated countries where thousands of people are HIV positive causes immeasurable suffering, so who's truly Satan's little helper?

What do you all think of parents blaming music for teenage violence?:

I blame upbringing, character, poverty and hormones, not music. Music is a way of getting violence out of your system without harming anyone. May be these parents need to examine themselves and their society. When we play all ages shows in the States kids have a great time letting off steam and are in a safer environment than hanging about on the streets with nowhere to go.

Do you think the world will offentialy colapse from all the fast food joints getting people fatter and fatter?:

The human race will most likely be wiped out because of it's factory farming/meat consumption and the insatiable greed, ignorance and cruelty of those in power. Or maybe just certain sections of humanity will disappear and the 'meek' will indeed inherit the Earth.
